Me

I have been doing photography from more than 10 years. The first camera I ever used was a Yashica film camera (not an SLR, just a normal film camera). It was my dad’s camera, but nonetheless I was mostly responsible for using it. That was in the 90s and I was less than 10 years old. Since film rolls and developing pictures were not cheap, my photography experiments were limited. The first time I got a digital camera was in 2010. It was a Canon IXUS point and shoot camera. That was still my dad’s camera, but I used it more often than my dad. And since taking pictures were free, my photography experiments began. As you know, you are quite limited with a point and shoot camera with respect to technical stuff, I focused more on composition. The first success I had with photography was a first place in my annual photography competition in 2011. In 2013 I bought my first DSLR. It was a Nikon D5100 with a 18-55mm kit lens. I was always fascinated with high magnifications so a couple of days later, I bought the cheapest Tamron 70-300mm. It is not a good lens, but at that point of time, that was all I could afford. Since then I started taking photography very seriously.
